When Tina arrives in at Llanfair though, she sees her ex-husband Cord with her former brother-in-law Clint. Tina then tries to welcome Cord with a big hug, but Cord pushes her away and confronts Tina angrily with the crazy schemes she involved her family in a few years ago.

Tina tries to apologize to Cord, but to no avail. Tina then discovers that her dog David Vickers is missing and enlists Cord's help to find her dog. When their search comes up empty, a distraught Tina then embraces Cord to find comfort in his arms. On October 6, , Tina went to her former sister-in-law's Tea Delgado 's house to try to get her help to look for her missing dog since she was last seen discovering a bomb Irene planted outside the house. Tea had no clue about where the dog was, but they also confided in each other to form a friendship with each other since Tea was once married to her brother Victor Jr.

Tina then went back to Llanfair to talk to Cord and ask him if he found her dog yet, but Cord said she hasn't turned up yet. Tina exclaimed that her dog going missing was the worst thing that happened in her life.

Cord then chided Tina for implying her dog going missing was worse than what happened to their daughter Sarah at Mendorra a few years ago. Tina then apologized and said that she was just exaggerating because she was very upset about her missing dog.

Tina also reminisced with Cord about their past together. Tina and Cord nearly kissed until they were interrupted by Clint. Tina then left Llanfair to meet her sister Viki at her office at the Banner. Tina and Viki talked about their troubled relationship, and all of Tina's past mistakes that led to their starined relationship as sisters. Tina and Viki decided to reconcile with each other and David Vickers came into Viki's office, so Tina had a good day.

Tina apologizes to Natalie, even offering to be a wedding planner for Natalie's upcoming nuptials with police officer Brody Lovett as a way to ask for forgiveness.

Natalie accepts her offer, and Tina is overjoyed by her accepting her apology and being a part of her wedding. On October 26, Tina is greeted at the door by a woman claiming to be Gigi Morasco. Tina then asked Jessica if she knows who Gigi is, and Jessica tells her that Gigi was Rex's fiance who died last summer.

Tina then goes back to find the mystery woman, only to find out that she's gone. Tina is then greeted at the door again by Cutter Wentworth , who is looking for the woman that's calling herself Gigi, and shows her a picture of the woman on his cell phone.

Tina recognizes the woman as the one she saw earlier at the door. Cutter then left to find the mystery woman. On October 28, Tina decides to dress up in Viki's old wedding dress for Brody and Natalie's costumed themed engagement party on Halloween at the Buchanan Mansion, and plans for Cord to dress up in the suit that Clint wore at his wedding.

Viki tells Tina that she's pushing too hard to rekindle things with Cord by both of them dressing up in the clothes that she and Clint wore on their special day. Tina and Cord decide to dress up as a cowgirl and cowboy instead. When Tina arrives at the engagement party, she sees a picture of the girl she saw that thought she was Gigi on the top of the fireplace mantle in the Buchanan Mansion.

Cord then reminds Tina that it's the picture of Rex's dead fiance Gigi. Rex then talks to Cord and Tina, and tells them that he's been named Brody's best man at his wedding. Tina then says that she thought Cord was going to be Brody's best man. Tina then went with Cord to the stables to hash out their problems but ended up making love instead! Rex discovers Tina and Cord at the stables when he thought Cutter was hiding out there. Cord then told Tina that despite what happened, he doesn't know if he could trust her again yet, but Tina told him that she would prove to him that she could regain his trust.

Tina blames Clint for Cord's inability to trust her and again she declares she intends to change. Carlo and his minions first drag Tina, Sarah and Cristian to the river above the treacherous Hohenstein Falls. Tina is horrified as Carlo reveals his intent to send Sarah over the Falls to her death, deliberately echoing Tinas own nearly-fatal plunge over the Iguazu Falls in Cristian manages to escape Carlos guards and swim to Sarahs raft; Tina watches history repeat itself as Sarah and Cristian go over the Falls on July 22, Cristian turns up alive but Sarah is presumed dead.

Cristian saves Tina and Cain from the executioners axe, but not before Tina responds to Cains declaration of love with a thoughtless "I love you too, Cord! Sarah reappears alive, just in time to join the others in their escape.

A duplicitous Cain later parachutes from the plane with the Crown Jewels - not knowing that Tina has already switched the gems with fakes - and in Llanview, Tina is soon reunited with Viki, and then with Cord.

After Cord hears about the drama in Mendorra, Tina is devastated when he tells her that she has not changed, and they can never be together.
